MARCH TRAINING CAMP MAJORCA 2009
RG Active are pleased to announce our NEW training Camp for 2009. The camp will held in the town of Puerto Pollensa in the Spanish Island of Majorca.
Pollensa is a town 54km from the airport of Palma, and is one of the most attractive areas of the Northern side of the Island.
The Camp aims to cater for ALL abilities across all three disciplines of triathlon. Swimming, cycling, and running. The main focus of the camp will centre around the cycling discipline making the most of the breathtaking scenery and the amazing roads that cover the entire Island. The roads are some of the best roads in the World for cycling and with flat and mountain routes available you will experience cycling like you have never experienced before. Wives, partners are also more than welcome to join us, whether they are or are training themselves it will be a lovely break in a very beautiful part of the World.
The sea and Hotel pool are on hand for swim training and open water swim practise (water temperature permitting) and run sessions will be held around the town and on the beach.
RG Active will have a number of coaches on hand to take sessions, answer any questions you might have and generally make your Training Camp an enjoyable and successful experience!
Training Camp Prices: (16th – 30th March 2009)
Prices DO include Breakfast and Dinner at the Hotel “Pollensa”
Prices DO NOT include your flights and airport transfers.
We are happy for people to book their flights and transfers to suit. You can arrive anytime as of the 16th March and stay anything from 7 -14 nights as per the prices above.
We recommend EasyJet for your flights although there are a number of airlines that fly to Palma Majorca Airport including, BMI, BA, Ryanair and many more and the sooner you book the holiday the cheaper you will find those all important flights, it is always worth searching around for flights as you can often find some real bargains!
You will need to pay the excess baggage fee for your bike box (different airlines have different requirements when travelling with oversize luggage so please make sure you meet all the requirements with regards to both money and weight). The alternative is to hirer a bike. If this is a preferred option we have 3 very good places that will hire very good quality bikes for around………..
